Nice to meet you
My name's Sara. I'm a first-year student at UCLA passionate about communication studies, earl grey tea, and community involvement. I love collaborating with others, and at UCLA, I've found my place in SAA (Student Alumni Association) which has definitely been the highlight of my first year.

Living in the San Fernando Valley, UCLA is just a short (half hour at best) drive away. For a while, I wanted to get out of the city, and maybe even the state, but there's nowhere quite like Los Angeles.
Now I'm on a journey of discovering my passions and path in life. Join me on this ride and see where I go! Who knows what will happen.
Some stuff I like
On my limited culinary and baking journey, I've had my fair share of mistakes. I kind of love that new recipe attempts don't always come out the way I expect. Just like every other part of life, it's a learning process – all I can do is consider what went wrong and try again next time.
When my attempt is successful, there's no better feeling. So in the spirit of trying new things and sometimes failing, here are a few pretty simple recipes for you to try!
I also like plants. I stick with the hard to kill ones.
If you're looking for some easy-going house plants, I'd suggest pothos or a snake plant!
Here are some films I like, too. I am 100% not an expert or even that big of a movie person. But I really do appreciate the craft and the experience of being immersed in a story (plus I have to admit I wanted some cool stills to liven up the blog).
